Colt Diamondback .38 Special with somewhat scarce 6" barrel. The serial number dates production to 1981. This revolver appears to be unfired and is complete with original serial number matching box. 100% complete and original literature include the "Colt Instruction Manual", "Colt Companion" booklet, "Colt Firearms Authorized Repair Service Stations" booklet, "Colt Inductries Congratulations" letter, and Hang Tag. The rich blue Colt finish is virtually flawless with only the very slightest hint of a cylinder dragline. The grips appear "as new" with sharp checkering but with a small area of darkened woodgrain on the left panel. Overall condition of the revolver rates at least 99%. The original box is only in fair condition showing signs of it's age with tattered corners and detached endflaps, but the label endflap is secure.
