The Colt Commando Special was produced for a short time in 1984-85 period with Matte Combat finish due to factory strike and trying to compete with lower priced SW handguns. It resembles a Detective Special without the Pony stamp (Pony was on strike too?) and polished Blued finish. Hard rubber grips with Silver medallions that feel good in my hand. A rare chance to fill this hole in a Colt lineup collection.
