Purchased from the original owner this Colt Python is in new condition and
has not been fired since leaving the factory. The deep blue finish is as good as it gets.  
The cylinder is virtually unturned and the cylinder latches retain all the blue finish which validates
the owner's description of having not fired the gun. The gun comes in its original,
number matching box which is in excellent condition.  The box includes the owners manual,
Colt Companion and Colt authorized service pamphlets, the Colt screwdriver in its
envelope, hang tag, rust paper, and the plastic bag.  Just as it left the factory nearly 40
years ago. I had to remove the factory grease which had dried and locked the cylinder to the frame.
The cylinder is tight to rotate as I didn't spend anytime freeing that up. Only distraction on the
gun is a very small loss of blue on the face of the cylinder and the inside of the frame
just under the forcing cone. Likely where the grease had dried.

A complete and near perfect example of a 4 inch Colt Python.
