Description:
Here is a cool old Colt DA38 chambered for 38 Short or Long Colt. These were known as the Colt Lightning due to their DA and SA capability. This one is like most that you see. It is well worn and has been reblued. The action works very well in SA but sometimes DA does not engage the hammer. Sometimes it does. Not sure why that is. The timing appears good but the lockup has some wiggle. Sold AS-IS due to the DA not always catching the hammer.  Thanks for looking!
