If this gun could tell the history of the many trips across the Atlantic during the World War. During 1942 the ship name was changed to USS Tarazed. The ship returned to public freight service after the war under the United Fruit Company. In 1958 it was sold to the Seipio And Company. During these years it harbored in New Orleans and carried passengers to Cuba and Central America. All this time with this Colt being secured in the captain's quarters. The gun is chambered for the .45 Colt cartridge with a 5 1/2" barrel and fixed sights.No Calif. buyers please. Add 35.00 freight and insurance.
