Colt Police Positive Pequeno Model .32 with a 2” barrel NIB from 1941. Very Rare
Description: Offered is a very rare Colt Pequeno model Police Positive .32 with the 2” barrel. This is one of only ten Pequeno models with the 2” barrel. These were produced by Colt for export to South America and chambered in .32 Police Cartridge (.32 S&W). They were all made on the smaller .32 frame and most were offered with a 2 1/2”, 4”, 5” or 6” barrel length. The barrels on the Pequeno models were marked Police Positive B .32 and serialized between S/N 226,000 & S/N 237,000 range. The word Pequeno means little one in Spanish. This one remains in its original factory box serialized to the gun. The factory box remains in excellent plus condition and void of any broken corners, tears or box damage. It also has the Colt brochures in the box. The factory Colt Archive letter is also included. These 2” examples were shipped to H&D Folsom Arms Company in New York City in June of 1941. The gun remains in new and unused & unfired condition with 99% of its original Colt factory blue finish. The original Colt factory checkered wood grips remain in 99% condition. This is the rarest and best condition Police Positive Pequeno that we have ever encountered. This gun is over 50 years old and meets the requirements of the C&R license. I offer a three-day non-firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly in a hard rifle case and shipped with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $65 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer).
