Description:
Colt police Positive Target (Second Issue, Model "C"). Chambered in .22 Winchester Rimfire, this model was similar to the first issue except it has a slightly heavier frame, a last patent date of Oct. 5, 1926, and were manufactured 1926-1941. This revolver was produced in 1923 and has seen a fair amount of use. The original blue would rate at approximately 70% with various areas of high edge wear, thinning and handling marks. The action locks up tight and the timing is correct. the bore is very nice, but has been re-lined. The re-lining job was done professionally and is very hard to spot. This revolver comes with a period floral tooled holster that fits the gun very well. These little Target Models are scarce and it would make an excellent shooter.
