The revolver is in near new condition showing only the most minor of rubs /scratches from simply sitting in a box for almost 90 years. The front of the cylinder retains about all the blue showing it was probably not shot. The box is numbered to this one on the bottom and the end label is intact showing the model, 6" barrel, caliber and wood grips. In the box is a folded single page Colt "Special Instruction" sheet as well as a soft bore brush and best of all a metal oil bottle IN THE ORIGINAL EXCELLENT CONDITION REMINGTON REM OIL BOX WITH PICTURE OF METAL OILER ON THE OUTSIDE! The Rem Oil box is in excellent condition with both flaps intact. The Colt box is also excellent with only some edge wear, excellent intact corners, hinge and printed inside lid and box body. A remarkable set. and great investment as these pre-war Colt revolvers are really starting to come in to their own on the collector market.
