The Colt Frontier Scout series was introduced in the mid-20th century as a scaled-down, rimfire version of the legendary Single Action Army revolver. Designed to capture the look and feel of the original Peacemaker while offering economical .22 caliber shooting, these revolvers quickly became popular among collectors and enthusiasts alike. The “Lawman Series” was issued as a commemorative set, with each revolver dedicated to a famed Western lawman, making complete, matching sets increasingly scarce and desirable.
Description
This offering includes all four revolvers in the Lawman Series, each bearing matching serial numbers—an important and highly sought-after feature for serious collectors. Each revolver is chambered in .22 Long Rifle and finished in classic Colt style, with commemorative markings specific to the honored lawman.
The revolvers remain unfired, preserved in their original factory custom-fitted presentation box. Notably, all cylinders are free of turn lines (no cylinder ring), indicating they have not been cycled or used.
