This Single-action Frontier Scout is a scaled down version of the Colt Single Action Army (the Peacemaker). It was made with an alloy frame at a reduced size (7/8 of the SAA) to make it much lighter and more manageable. It was manufactured in .22LR but also accept .22 Magnum cylinders. This revolver has been modified to .22 Magnum. Overall, this Frontier Scout is in good condition. While the frame and barrel are in very good condition, the wood grips appear to have been re-finished; however, the rampant colt symbol remains. This revolver was last manufactured in 1982.
