Colt 1878 Thunderer 38 Colt

Description:
38 Long Colt, serial number 2XX. Shop keeper version, 3.5" barrel. Etched panel caliber marking. Barrel shows brown patina, vise markings (barrel may have been removed). Believe this is the original barrel. Frame shows scattered, light pitting. Light case color visible in areas. Cylinder shows blue in lightning cuts. Frame retains blue in shaded areas, hammer retains niter blue on back. Grip frame shows patina. Extremely nice walnut one-piece grips. Excellent mechaninal. Bore is very good, shows light wear, no pitting. Cylinders are very good, show minor frosting. Cylinder serial number matching. More photos on request. Please add $40.00 for shipping and insurance.
