1861 Colt Early 2nd Generation with Display Case

Description:
1861 Navy 2nd generation produced in late 1979 early 1980. Rare model, less than 3200 made, starting with serial number 40,000, this one being in the first 700 made.
Colt Authentic Black Powder Series Model 1861 Navy Revolver comes with original box and a nice display case. This is one of the scarcer models from this series and they rarely come up for sale.
These 2nd Gen black powder revolvers are avidly collected and when still with the box & display case with some accoutrements they become even more impressive. They are quite eye catching and extremely well made and beautifully finished. Because they are not considered to be modern firearms they do not require paperwork and can be shipped directly to you. This example is in extremely high condition, showing some light handling marks and a tiny trace of a drag line on a couple areas of cylinder. Display case shows some handling marks and some partitions are a little loose. Extremely tough Colt to get in this condition and with all the extras. Original matching box. Please feel free to ask questions. Will consider trades.
