Description:
"Serial number 2285. Made circa late 1860s to early 1870s. 38 RF caliber with a 3.5" barrel. This is a superb example of a Nickel Colt 1862 Pocket Navy. Approximately 97% of the original nickel finish remains. All of the varnish remains on the grips. Colt Conversions were a way to use up percussion parts for the cartridge period. The civil war was transitional period where the percussion period was expiring and the cartridge period was replacing it. This is an excellent example!
