BEAUTIFUL EARLY COLT NEW SERVICE REVOLVER .455 in ORIGINAL BOX, FACTORY LETTER
Description: This is probably one of the best examples of an early high polished large frame Colt New Service revolver, made in 1914 and chambered in .455 ELEY. The gun retains nearly all of its high luster original blueing with a couple of small rub marks and some toning/tiny scratches on the cylinder and toning on the rear grip strap. It comes with an original box with intact end label(I have not been able to find a comparable label box anywhere online), with some glue present here and there, but intact and in good shape overall. The factory letter from 2008 confirms shipment to Montreal in 1914. Bore and cylinder chambers are minty with very little evidence of firing the gun on the recoil shield. All the markings are sharp. Very nice grips with a tiny chip on one corner. These high polished guns are very difficult to photograph and the pictures really do not do it justice. Please ask if you would like me to take any other pictures of the gun. No import marks! FFL or C&R (where allowed). $30 shipping in CONUS. 3 day inspection. SOLD |
