Colt New Service .45 Colt (C13117)

Description:

Colt New Service .45 Colt caliber revolver. Royal Northwest Mounted Police New Service. Listed by serial number in Clanchers Book Arms and Accoutrements of The Mounted Police on page 189 he lists this revolver as part of a 200 gun shipment to the commissioner of the RNWMP on October 16, 1919. Backstrap is marked RNWMP 1878. The bore is excellent and the action works perfectly. Bottom of grip strap is marked “MP” (in addition to the previous noted backstrap markings). Very good overall “Mountie” revolver.
