"Early Small frame trigger guard Colt Model 1851 Navy revolver .36b caliber (AC1286)

Description:
"Serial No. 13961, made in 1852, 36 caliber, 7 ½" octagonal barrel. Metal is a grey/brown patina with scattered areas of mottled oxidation visible. Serial numbers are matching, wedge is unmarked. Grips show handling and usage wear with old repairs noted. Faint cylinder scene remains visible. Hammer has been replaced, case colors remain present. Action indexes correctly with a tight lock up.
