This circa 1940 Colt Officers Model Target is chambered for the rarely seen 32 Colt cartridge. It is as new in the box which is numbered to the gun. The 6"" HEAVY barrel has a like new bore with bright, strong rifling. The gun retains approx. 99+% blue. The bright hammer is like new. The blued trigger has a checkered face. The barrel is marked COLT OFFICERS over MODEL 32 over *HEAVY BARREL*. It is equipped with a Patridge front sight. The checkered wood grips with the Colt medallion are like new. The very smooth action functions correctly in single and double action. The original box is excellent with a few spot of light edge wear. It is lightly numbered on the bottom to the pistol. The white top end label has TARGET followed by HEAVY BARREL over PATRIGE SIGHT. The standard blue end label correctly shows that it is a 6' barrel Officer's Model Revolver in .32 caliber with wood grips and blue finish. The inside top and bottom labels are fine. The included Colt Special Instructions fold out is excellent. The included cleaning brush is still in its original packaging. You will not be able to upgrade this one, especially with the box and the rare .32 caliber which was made only from 1939 to 1941.
