Colt Officers Model .22 Target Revolver Third Issue
Description: Serial #8009, .22 LR, 6" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1933-made revolver that retains 97-98% of the original blue finish with some silvering at the muzzle, along some of the high edges, and light turn-ring on the cylinder. The hammer and trigger have nearly all of the original finish remaining, and the original target front and rear sights are still present. The checkered walnut medallion grips rate excellent with just a few light handling marks on either panel, and very little flattening of the points. The action functions flawlessly, and the revolver is housed in a period, French-fit wooden case with blank lid escutcheon, crimson velvet lining, and key. This is a splendid example of a desirable pre-war Officers Model .22, and rates excellent overall.
