Serial #620818, .38 Special, 6 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Colt Officers Model 38 with special Heavy Barrel target revolver manufactured by Colt in 1950. The SA/DA features a wide spur hammer and serrated trigger. In excellent condition the barrel, frame and cylinder retain about 94-96% of the original blue with thinning at the muzzle, high edges and on the cylinder with scattered areas of very tiny freckling. The Cold medallion grips fit slightly proud of the frame and remain in excellent condition. It is sighted with square notch rear and blade front target sights. Mechanically it functions properly with excellent timing and tight lock up with a very smooth trigger pull. FFL or C&R
