Colt Officers Model Special .22 Target Revolver 1950
Description:
Serial #62833, .22 LR, 6" heavy barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1950-made revolver that has retained 90-92% of the original blue finish with silvering at the muzzle, along the edges and projections, as well as a mild turn-ring and some minor surface scratches on the cylinder. Some further silvering is present on the trigger, and there is mild freckling on the sides of the hammer spur. The original raked front sight blade and Coltmaster adjustable rear sight are still fitted. The checkered Coltwood grips are in excellent shape with very little evident wear or flattening of the points. The lock-up is firm, and the action functions flawlessly in both single and double-action. This is a fine example of a desirable Colt target revolver, and would make a great addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
