Pre-War Colt Officer's Model Target 3rd Issue Revolver
Description:
Serial #529449, .38 Special, 7 1/2” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1926-made revolver that has retained 98% plus of the original blue finish that has silvered slightly at the muzzle, as well as on a handful of high edges and bearing surfaces. The hammer has original, brightly polished sides, and there is some fading on the knurled end of the ejector rod. There is a mild turn-ring on the cylinder and a small, unobtrusive import stamp on the underside of the barrel. The checkered walnut grips, numbered to the gun on the interior, are in excellent condition with very little wear or flattening of the points. The lock-up is tight and the action functions flawlessly. The revolver comes in the original, numbered plum-brown box with cleaning brush and original Colt test target. This is a fantastic Officer's Model Target and is in excellent condition overall. FFL or C&R
