Colt Police Positive Railway Express Agency gun w marked Holster
Description:
This is a Colt Police Positive "Second Issue" Model in .38 Cal. This revolver was made in 1931. Has a 4" barrel, original Walnut grips and it is marked RY.EX.AGY on the grip strap which is the Railway Express Agency. On the bottom of the walnut grip it is marked 7D7. Not sure if that was a company id for the gun or the Railway Detective's badge number or ? It has a nice old leather holster also marked Railway Express Agency. The gun locks up tight and it shows some holster wear and handling marks but it is in VG overall condition for it's age. A great old Colt that definitely falls in that catagory of "If it could only talk". This gun was in use on the rail line during the Great Depression. This piece of history is priced at $500 plus shipping. Thanks for looking. If you have any questions please call or text me at 479-209-2375. Bob Jackson
