Colt Police Positive Special revolver in .38 Special with 4" barrel, checkered wood grips with silver medallions, complete with box, made in 1960.

Description:

Standard configuration Colt Police Positive Special Revolver chambered in .38 Special with a four inch barrel, serrated ramp front and grooved rear sights. Left side of barrel marked with model/caliber. Rampant Colt on left sideplate. Right side of barrel marked with Colt address. Full serial number on left side of frame, crane and inked on bottom of box. Fitted with wood checkered grips having silvered Colt medallions. Complete with matching Colt faux wood shipping box, end label marked with manufacturer, model and barrel length, containing wax paper and warranty card.

Condition:

Crisp 99+% bright original finish with minimal sharp edge wear. Cylinder ring does not even break the blue, and no cartridge head marks on the recoil shield. Comparable condition grips, the left panel having a small ding just below the screwhead. Mirror bore. As no cylinder ring, we did not cycle the revolver. VG+ box (possibly a replacement) with shelf wear/considerable edge scuffing.
