Colt Police Positive

Description:
Back strap marked "PROPERTY OF ADAMS EXPRESS COMPANY", .38, #68788, 4 inch barrel, blue finish, 2 piece hard rubber grips, 1913.

Adams Express Company was formed in 1854, it was taken over by the federal government in 1918 and finally sold to government controled American Railway Express along with Wells Fargo Express and American Express later that year.

Condition: very good bore, 85% finish overall, excellent grips, excellent mechanically, excellent marks.
