COLLECTOR CONDITION 1979 Colt Python
Description: This one is sold pending funds but others in my collection are available. They go quick in this amazing condition! Another beauty from my personal collection being offered for sale. This is a gorgeous 1979 Colt Python with Colt's beautiful blue finish and in fantastic condition. Based on appearance, it looks to be unfired after the factory tests or at least an extremely low round count! I am not the original owner so it is just my opinion. There is an incredibly faint turn line and extremely light evidence of any carbon rings on the front of the cylinder. The Colt checkered wood grips are gorgeous with no obvious wear I can see. I rate the condition at 99%+ but you be the judge after viewing the detailed photos. Haven't found the box for this one. If this one doesn't do it for you, let me know specifically what you are looking for (such as a different year, barrel length or finish) and I will see if I have one stashed away. This one, like others in my collection, was purchased only to satisfy my OCD personality for detail and as close to perfection as possible. I am not a gun dealer but recently decided to start gradually selling my collection of many years and it is hard to let go. Feel free to call me with any questions while reading the ad and viewing the photos for an honest answer to your question/s. I practice the Golden Rule and want folks to love my guns as I do and hoping to gain a list of serious collectors to stay in touch with in the future. I have a lot of Colts in my collection but also collect S&W, Beretta, Browning, Seecamps, HK P7s, etc. I always recommend anyone with intentions of firing a collector quality gun that has only been displayed for years and never loaded, have a gunsmith do a thorough inspection and be sure the internals are oiled to factory specs before firing the weapon. I cannot personally warranty any handgun so any concerns of warranty or guarantees would have to be with the manufacturer as I am a private collector and not a gun store. Anyone asking to return this beauty, must inspect the gun with the FFL dealer present as a witness during the entire inspection and before you take ownership and leave the dealer's location. Have the FFL call me immediately if there are any problems. If for some reason it goes to VM, I only return calls if a message is left due to excessive spam calls. The lock up on this Colt is tight and the timing is excellent so there shouldn't be any issues. The gun cannot be returned once you take possession and it leaves the premises of the FFL after inspecting the gun just like a gun store. Do not dry fire the gun or spin the cylinder while in the gun during inspection causing more of a turn line if you plan to return it. The gun must be in the exact condition when returned as when the gun shipped to be accepted, or if not, the refund will be reduced. if returned, ALL shipping costs, FFL fees, insurance and charges in both directions, are the responsibility of the buyer and will not be refunded. PAYMENT: ZELLE, USPS Money Order, bank cashiers check, MoneyGram/Western Union at Wal Mart, or personal check (may take a few extra days to clear). SHIPPING: Buyer responsible for actual shipping costs. I will ship only to an FFL. Please don't call and ask me to ship it directly to you because that is not allowed!
