One of the scarcer Colt Pythons, this blued, near-new example circa 1980 with 2.5" vent rib barrel, complete with factory-matching serial numbered box. A key revolver for the Python or 7-Serpent collector!

Description:

Scarce Colt Python .357 Magnum revolver, blued with 2.5" vent rib barrel, serial number K64632, made circa 1980, with Royal Blue finish, serrated ramp front sight and adjustable rear sights. Left side of barrel marked "PYTHON .357/.357 MAGNUM CTG." with rampant colt logo on the frame. Right side of barrel bears "COLTS PT.F.A. MFG. CO./HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A." markings. Serial number K64632 appears on both frame and crane. Fitted with checkered wood grips having gold-plated Colt medallions. Complete with original large format faux wood shipping box with Colt logo, end label referencing the make, model, caliber, barrel length, finish and serial number, including Colt instruction manual.

Condition:

The revolver is virtually new, retaining 99.9% bright original Royal Blue finish. Very faint cylinder ring that does not break the blue. No staining of the sides of the hammer. Comparable condition grips with crisp checkering and no discernible handling marks. Mirror bore. VG shipping box with oil staining and minor losses of the styrofoam insert. The flaps bracketing the main end label of the box have torn free but are included.
