The Colt Python is the revolver by which all others are measured with the smoothest action and famous Python blue. Colt required the workers who built them to be the most experienced. As an example, the workman on the polishing line had to have 15 years experience to even be a candidate. This one dates to 1976 and features a 6-inch barrel, and target sights/hammer/trigger. .357 Magnum
