Description: The Colt Python is widely regarded as the finest production revolver ever manufactured, representing the pinnacle of American revolver craftsmanship. Introduced in 1955, the Python became legendary for its exceptional accuracy, smooth action, and distinctive full-lug barrel design. The stainless steel version, introduced in the 1970s, offered all the performance of the original Python with enhanced corrosion resistance and durability.
This very fine 1983 example showcases the Python's legendary quality with the desirable 6" full lug barrel and adjustable sights that made this revolver famous among target shooters and hunters. Shows little use with bright bore and chambers, demonstrating careful ownership throughout its four decades. Only a trace of carry wear indicates minimal handling, preserving the stainless steel finish that has made these revolvers increasingly collectible. Includes numbers matching box with paperwork in excellent condition, making this a complete collector's package. The rubber grips provide excellent control and comfort.
