Cased Cattle Brand Engraved Colt Single Action Army Pair .38 Special and .32-20 caliber revolvers. Made in 1901 in .38 Special with a 5½” barrel. Made in 1904 in 32-20 with a 5½” barrel. These guns are cattle brand engraved. The barrels, frames, trigger guard, and back straps are all nickel plated while the rest of the parts are gold. Grips are old stag. These guns came out of an old Texas collection in Corpus Christi. We believe these are Cole Agee engraved guns. Mr. Agee lived in Corpus Christi for a good while and the collection has several Cole Agee engraved guns. The guns in 32-20 has a replacement Christie Cylinder with an original Colt 1st gen barrel. The .38 Special has a post war Colt barrel. Mr. Agee was also known for switching out barrels and cylinders as needed to make the configuration a customer desired and he was fond of using Christie parts. These guns are engraved en suite and are in excellent condition. They come in a beautiful wood display case with a glass lid and a blue interior. Beautiful engraved set!
