Colt Single Action Army .45 LC caliber revolver. Manufactured in 1905. .45 Long Colt caliber. Barrel length 4 ¾”. Action works perfectly and indexes and locks up fine. Bore has fair rifling and areas of medium pitting. The grips are worn in the checkering, so it was carried for a long time, probably daily. The ejector housing is pitted sot that’s probably a replacement. The hammer is a modern Colt part that is obviously replaced. Numbers on the frame, trigger guard and backstrap all match. The screws are all good and not buggered as you would expect of an old soldier that this revolver is. Oh, yes, the cylinder pin (rod) is a replacement but looks good and works fine. All in all this is a working operating old single action that is reasonably priced. Don’t wait too long!
