Description:
Colt Single Action Army .45LC caliber revolver. Very interesting Colt Single Action Army made in 1891. Very interesting decorated gun. This gun was started out life as a cavalry model with a 7 ½” barrel. It was then made into an Artillery model for the Spanish American War. Then this was made into a “Sunday Picnic Bar B Que” gun. This gun is unusual in that it is not engraved, it is overlayed with silver and decorated with some sort of decorative stones. The overlay is engraved on the right hand side (the show side). The cylinder and the ejector housing were gold plated. Very nice grips. Unusual decorated gun!
