Colt Single Action Army Artillery model (C11751)

Description:

Colt Single Action Army Artillery model. Made in 1891. Nice sharp gun. Gun is completely mismatched which is correct for an artillery model. This gun was originally an all matching Cavalry model that was sent back to the Arsenal to be refurbished for the Spanish American War. During the refurbish, all of the guns were completely disassembled and when they were reassembled, no attempt was made to match the numbers. This gun has a smooth light brownish gray patina. Action works perfectly. Bore is very good.
