Colt Single Action Army Long Barrel Artillery .45 LC (C10289)

Description:

Colt Single Action Army Long Barrel Artillery .45 LC caliber revolver. Made in 1880. Nice sharp gun with a smooth brown patina. Traces of blue in the flutes of the cylinder. Bore is very good with sharp rifling and very light spots of pitting in the grooves. Grips are original and have been refinished. This is a very scarce gun as virtually all of the artillery models were shortened from having a 7½” barrel to 5½”. This is one of the very last that has the cavalry length barrel.
