Factory Engraved Colt Single Action Army .45 LC caliber revolver. Made in 1917. Factory engraved by Cuno Helfricht. Gun is in excellent condition with 98% of the factory silver finish. The beautiful carved pearl steer head grips are excellent. Gun was sent originally on the loan account to Kimball and Upson Presumably as a display gun or Salesman sample. The gun was shipped back to the factory where it was resilvered as was protocol and shipped to Cullem and Boren in Dallas, Texas. Gun has star on right hand side rear of the trigger guard and internal numbers from being shipped back to the factory. This gun was sold to Willie Ray Ferguson of Wichita Falls, Tx. Mr. Ferguson was a Sheriff, Rancher and Owner of a bank. Accompanying this gun is several articles on Mr. Ferguson, his business card and a letter from his grandson when we purchased this gun. Beautiful gun in excellent condition with a colorful Texas History!
