"Beautiful Black Powder Frame Engraved Colt Single Action Army (70984)
Description:
"Serial number 34652. Made in 1877. 45 LC caliber with a 5.5" barrel. This gun is very finely engraved and has a gold inlaid band around the muzzle and the cylinder. This gun was refinished in blue at the time of engraving. The grips are two piece ivory. This gun was an originally an artillery model. The trigger guard has been matched to the frame and the number on the back strap has been removed. Accompanying this finely engraved Colt is a factory letter confirming the configuration and that it was sold and shipped to the US Government.
