"Colt Single Action Army .45LC With Texas Prison Barrel (AC973)

Description:
"

Serial No. 36870, made 1877, .45 Colt, 5 3/8"" round barrel. Finish is dark brown/grey patina, barrel address is faint but readable. Original barrel has been replaced with later production barrel marked ""Texas State Penitentiary"". Grips have been lightly sanded down at some point, some frame screws have been replaced. Bore has surface oxidation, rifling is sharp. Action functions with some play due to the cylinder stops being worn. Comes with Colt letter.
