"Colt Single Action Army Cavalry Model Ainsworth Inspected (AC1142)

Serial number 7358. Made in 1874. 45 LC caliber with a 7 ½" barrel This is a nice sharp gun with a gun metal gray patina. The grips are period Colt made grips, but they are not military inspected. There is a steer head carved on the right hand side of the grips. This gun comes with a letter of authentication from noted Colt Single Action expert John Kopec. He declares it all original (with the exception of the grips) and awarded this gun the coveted Silver seal reserved for only the original and finest guns at Mr. Kopec’s discretion.
