"Serial number 137596. Made in 1891. 45 LC caliber with a 7 ½" barrel. Very fine sharp cavalry model with thinning blue on the barrel. The frame has traces of case colors on , but is mostly turned to a gray patina. The grips still have visible cartouches on both sides. The right hand side is mostly faded. Accompanying this gun is a factory letter along with two binders of research materials on this gun where the author determines this gun was issued to the 8th Cavalry company K.
