"Colt Single Action Army Sheriffs Model AC1069) CONSIGNMENT

Description:
"SN: 123273. Made in 1888. 45LC caliber with a 4" barrel. Very good Colt Sheriffs model with an even gray patina with spots of pitting. Grips are old one piece ivories. This gun comes with several factory letters as correspondence with legendary old time dealer Arnold Marcus Chernoff when he originally sold it in 1975. The letter confirms the configuration and that this gun came in a two gun shipment to E. C. Meacham in St. Louis. Colt Sheriffs models are a variation where there is no ejector rod present.
