"Serial number 184596. Made in 1869. 44-100 Thuer caliber with an 8" barrel. Excellent condition with 95% of the original blue. The frame has bright case colors. The grips have most of the original varnish. Thuer conversions are exceedingly rare and cased examples in this condition of virtually unheard of. This ggun comes with an original matching percussion cylinder. All accessories are excellent and you have the Thuer loading tool. There is also two boxes of Thuer cartridges. One of the boxes is a possible reproduction. The case is all original and excellent. This is about as good as one will find and certainly worthy of the finest Colt collections!
