"Serial number 350782. Made in 1927. 38 Colt caliber with a 5 ½" barrel. This is a fantastic factory engraved Colt Single Action Army. This gun is in excel condition with most of the original factory finish. The only alteration is the front sight. Grips are factory medallion ivory. This is a Wilber Glahn engraved gun who was the master engraver for Colt during the 1920s. The backstrap behind the hammer is engraved with the initials “F.G.C." The initials stand for Frances Gordon Caffey who was a Senior Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. This gun comes with a Factory letter confirming all features except the front sight which is a period replacement. (DALLAS LOCATION)
