"SN: 122356. Made in 1887. 45 LC caliber with a 3 ½" barrel. This gun has a nice even gray patina. Metal has been cleaned. Grips are very fine eagles that are slightly oversized on the butt. This gun comes with a letter from noted Colt Single Action expert Ron Graham where he authenticated this gun as being an authentic Colt Sheriff’s model. Strangely in his letter, he identifies this gun as having a 3" barrel, but this gun clearly has a 3 1/3" barrel. According to the factory records, this gun was shipped to Cummings & Geisler in Houston Texas.
