"Serial number 132876. Made in 1890, 45 LC caliber with a 7 ½" barrel. This gun is all matching except for the backstrap. The backstrap is in the same serial range with Signal Corp markings. New York Militia guns are similar to Artillery models in that they are still correct with non matching parts. This gun is in excellent condition with excellent original factory blue and case colors. The grips are excellent with sharp cartouches. This gun comes with a factory letter, a letter from Springfield research Service and most importantly a letter from noted Colt Single Action expert John Kopec. Mr Kopec goes through each part in his authentication letter and proclaims this gun as all original issuing it a coveted Golden Seal which is reserved for only the finest guns he sees.
