Description:
This is a beautiful Colt - U.S. Cavalry Revolver. Kopec’s“VERY FINE Original Condition” - SILVER STAMP letter is included. Kopec pretty well describes the condition of this amazing Historical Revolver. It is .45 Caliber, 7 1/2" Barrel with an Excellent bore. Serial Number #137594, Manufactured in 1891, (Shipped Circa Jan. 20th). Factory applied blue finish remains evident as well as the frames case-colors. Barrel marked P, R.A.C. on bottom at breech end. Frame marked US on left side above trigger guard. Walnut grips show light handling with script cartouches on lower sides. Matching numbers on Frame, Trigger Gard, Grip Strap, Cylinder. Action is Crisp and indexes properly and locks up tight.
Please Note: In my other listing, I have another Colt SAA that left the Colt Factory on the same day as this one. Serial Number #137626. They both left the Colt Factory on January 20, 1891. That's over 125 years ago and here they are sitting together once again. These revolvers started life together and it would be great is they could stay together. PLEASE make me a Two Gun Offer. I really do not want to split these revolvers up.
