Description:
This gun is just the way you like to find them, never cleaned or polished, with nice hard rubber eagle grips, and super nice, original etched "Colt Frontier Six Shooter" panel on the left side of the barrel.(see pics). This gun is crisp and sharp. The mechanics are excellent, the bore is excellent, all factory markings are nice, the eagle grips are in very good condition, and fit very well. (no serial # visible inside). There is still quite a bit of the original nickel finish still on this gun. Nice screws, with some original faded fire blue on most of the screws. Small area of corrosion on the back strap, but, no pitting. The best part is the original "etched panel" on this gun!! (see pics). Shipped as a single gun to E.C. Meachum Arms Co. in 1888. This gun has a really good look to it, having never been cleaned or monkeyed with! You just don't find them like this any more. Comes with factory archive letter. Please ask questions if desired. NO FFL required for shipping unless the state you live in requires one for transfer, NY,NJ, etc.. Ship for $35.00 to the lower 48 states.
