Colt 1873 Single Action Army First Generation in .45 Colt
Description:
SALE PENDING. We have here a First Generation Colt 1873 Single Action Army revolver in .45 Colt. Consignor states it is all original except for the genuine ivory grips. 4 3/4 inch barrel with two line address. Numbers match under grips with the frame number and cylinder. Mechanically the revolver functions as new. Very few handling marks. There is a clearly visible drag line on cylinder. A couple of "hard to see in a photograph" items that were pointed out to me: I added photos of the ejector rod housing and the muzzle to show that the holster wear appears to be pretty even on both barrel and ejector rod housing and that the blue finish does appear to match on barrel and ejector rod housing. Manufactured in 1935. Condition 95+%. Revolver will not Colt letter due to no records for the year of manufacture. Overall a very nice example of a First Generation Colt SAA. Shipping and insurance $100. Credit cards use adds 3% to the total. Cashier checks and money orders accepted.
