Colt 1st Generation Single Action Army SAA .38WCF 4.75" Barrel, Holster, Letter c. 1900

Description:
This is a well used but serviceably sound Colt Single Action Army revolver. It was shipped to Belknap Hardware, Louisville, Kentucky with four other guns on August 31, 1900. Serial #199305, it is in .38 WCF (.38-40) caliber with 4.75" barrel and hard rubber (gutta percha) grips. It has a decent bore, evenly frosted, and is mechanically in fine shape with all four clicks and three notches. The hammer spring feels about new and the lock up is almost tight. There is virtually no original finish left on the metal, with some shallow pitting overall.

It comes with a heavy leather using holster which is hand made with no maker mark.
