Colt .45 Peacemaker, 1st Generation
7 1/2 Inch Barrel, Blue/Color Case Hardened Finish
SOLD
Description:
Manufactured in 1917, this first generation .45 L.C. Colt Single Action Army is about as good as they get. Except for a slight drag line on the cylinder and a few very minor pin point nicks on the barrel, this gun is pristine and near new, retaining 99%+ original blue and color case hardening. There is no corrosion inside or out, and it may have only been test fired. The action is smooth and the bore and grips are perfect. All parts are original and matching, including the numbered to the gun cylinder and grips. The original shipping carton contains its wire brush and 3 in 1 plastic oil battle. The factory letter confirms the configuration and notes that the gun was shipped to the George Worthington Co. in Cleveland, Ohio on June of 1917. An absolutely beautiful Single Action Colt. PRICE: $14,500 We are Antique & Modern Firearms in Lexington, KY, dealer of fine firearms since 1974. PH. 859-276-1419 We Buy, Sell and Trade. Have a firearms collection to sell, let us know.
