Dyas Company in Los Angeles, Ca. It was once again returned and switched out with pearl grips before finally being shipped to E.S. Sporting Good in Austin, Texas. On one of these returns, the barrel was changed from a 5 ½” to a 4 ¾”. Or there was an error in the factory ledger that recorded this gun as 5 ½” when it was originally 4 ¾”. Typically, when a gun goes back to the factory, this indicated it to be a show gun. This is possible, or this was a gun that was hard to sell due to the cost and the great depression. This gun is all factory original. There has been no refinishing whatsoever. Grips are beautiful pearl carved steer heads. Absolute all original factory engraved Single Action shipped to Texas!
