Colt Single Action Army 1st Generation chambered in 45 Colt with a 4 3/4 inch barrel light pitting and strong lands & grooves. This firearm comes with a letter from Colt stating it was shipped to H.S. Bettes Hardware Company in Paris Texas on August 11 1902. The two-line Colt address markings on the top of the barrel were produced that way on most of Colts Single Action Army but were sometimes omitted on barrel lengths of 4 3/4 inches and less. The cylinder appears to be functional & in time and the hammer has all four Colt clicks. According to "The Book of Colt Firearms" the Single Action Army stamped with " PAT. SEPT. 19 1871 JULY 2 72 JAN 19 75 were serial numbered approximately from #135000 to #357859. This is a used firearm that is in fair condition and is covered by Dury's Lifetime Warranty.
